i really detest it when people use swear words
i mean, the english language is so beautiful and even derogatory language (if it is used) can be morphed into something more euphemistic.
the 2 words that i find most vexing are
1. hate (which technically isn;t a swear word but its so carelessly used and so hurtful. when people say i hate you i feel like my stomach just curls up and dies. its so strong and i don't know, words are so tangible its like a physical blow. it just denotes the utmost disgust and degradation, and seems to basically say to the person, i wish you were never ever born) and;
2. the f word (which is so carelessly used. its so, so dumb. really. does it make you cool? is it such a gross habit that that word which , if you google its meaning, has such a range of meanings. each one perverse, hurtful or just plain gross in its own way, is used so much by people in the most petty circumstances.)
