Don't diss the sky please sir

In Florence, we met a Singaporean boy on the same free tour we were on. I asked him what the Singapore Sky looked like.

'Oh it's not worth remembering,' he said, and I took an instant dislike to him.

When I got back I made sure I looked. The clouds here are longer and flatter than those in England, and the sunsets are painted more metallic. On the first day, the blue was crayon, but today it is pale, as if the brightness of the sun has faded it somewhat.
