because
i played with this super cute boy called Jan Hai (pronounced Yan Hi)
he's 2 and from Laos (and about to be adopted by American parents.)
he only speaks Laotian but he can say simple words like star and yay (which i taught him) and ball
which reminds me he is surprisingly good at kicking and throwing balls.
he has really good aim and he's pretty powerful for a little guy who only comes up to my knee (about)
anyway i am now nostalgic for the days when tim was a cute little toddler and ran around with his red bear and sticking ricola gummies on his face...
