Actually, when i was told that this year we had to go for national young women leader's day i groaned inwardly because:
1) i am too busy
2) the one i went to 2 years ago wasn't that awesome

but this year it was different.

The speakers were
1) a lady who climbed almost to the top of mount everest
2) a wild life photographer
3) a lady in the navy who catches pirates
4) the co founder of AWFULLY CHOCOLATE <3


somehow they all inspired me, even the wild life photographer who was obviously nervous.
They were great people who had done great things with normal means.
so whats stopping me? (watch out miriam's on a roll)
i really liked what the chocolate lady said: go with the flow, but make sure you swim really hard (something like that)
i suppose wherever life takes you, as long as you put your passion into something, you're definitely going to come up with results (though whether the ones you hoped for....)
anyway, i am going to celebrate being a GIRL :) and being my own person, ready to take on the world!
anyway,
NEWSFLASH: i am not baking a LD cake because there will be too many people to all be able to eat it and i wouldn't want to be unfair. :(
