a cloudy summer

dear emily,
i would like a summer date with you, me, a polaroid camera and a picnic basket of nice food
on the ex-train track
we shall just lie there in nice dresses and eat and talk and take photos and let people step over us
if we get bored we could go down to tanglin halt and get fringes cut
or alternatively we could buy doughnuts and eat them off strings which we would hang on trees
this would make our noses very sugary but nevermind, sweets for the sweet
so what do you say emily?
